The Coastal Commission meets monthly in coastal communities from Del Norte to San Diego, deliberating on proposed development projects across California's 1,100-mile coastal zone. The California Coastal Act sets the policies and standards that guide those decisions.

Each month, ActCoastal selects the most consequential votes and rates them pro-coast or anti-coast. The charts below record each Commissioner's vote, along with absences and alternates, and a summary of what was at stake.
